Preview: SK Promotions ‘Collision Course’…..

In only a matter of days, SK Promotions will bring one of the best small-hall cards seen in a long time to Citywest Hotel, Dublin.

This Saturday ‘Collision Course‘ will see some of the best prospects in Ireland and some serious title contenders take to the ring as the Irish boxing season gets under way for 2018.

So, here’s a look ahead to who fight fans can see in action on the night –

* Current Irish middleweight champion ‘Cool Hand’ Luke Keeler 13-2 (5 ko’s) returns to action. Luke will be out to keep his winning streak going ahead of his WBO European title fight against Conrad Cummings on the Frampton-Donaire card in Aprl.

* Exciting local favourite Sean ‘Creaghzy Horse’ Creagh 7-1 is currently on a 3 fight winning streak and will be looking to keep that going as he eyes up domestic title fights in 2018.

* ‘The Wolfound’ Stevie Collins Jr 12-1-1 (4 ko’s), the exciting Dubliner is going for his third win in a row as he works towards domestic title fights following a setback loss to Paddy McDonagh for the Irish light-heavyweight belt

* Exciting Kildare Lightweight Gary Cully 3-0 (2 ko’s) has also been added to the bill. Gary really announced himself on the scene last year with two stunning stoppage wins on Boxnation & Matchroom tv shows. He also appeared on our KO Boxing News ‘Top Prospects for 2018’ list.

* Undefeated Stephen ‘Shorty’ Carroll 7-0 returns to the ring following an eight month lay-off. Stephen will be looking to get back to winning ways as he aims for title fights

* Former amateur star and Rio olympian Davey Oliver Joyce 5-0 (4 ko’s) returns to action following a breakout 2017 when he showed why he’s considered one of Ireland’s top prospects. Davey also featured on our KO Boxing News ‘Top Prospects for 2018’ list.

* Undefeated local teenager Liam Gaynor 2-0 looks to continue his rapid progression up the domestic lightweight rankings

* Kildare featherweight and former amateur standout Eoin McGrath makes his much-anticipated debut.
