  • Scott Quigg looks to be in line to face WBO Featherweight champ Oscar Valdez in what could be a real toe-to-toe war. The bout looks likely to take place on March 10th in the stubhub centre, California
  • Joseph Parker’s promoters say his proposed unification bout with heavyweight king Anthony Joshua is nearly finalised for March 31st in the principality stadium, Cardiff. They look to have settled on the finer details including the split and are now close to confirming the fight
  • Billy Joe Saunders says he has no problem with facing Spike O’Sullivan again, and says the cork native deserves his shot at his WBO middleweight crown –

“I haven’t fought in the UK for seven years. It is time to come back home now so I am looking at fighting in March, then I plan to fight again in the UK around September time and then at the end of the year I want a big fight, wherever that is.
